JERRY CANTU

Through all his life, Jerry Cantu has felt the need to create and express himself creatively. His only outlets in his small town of Mission, TX were band, theatre, choir, and dance. Unfortunately, those activities didn't give him the artistic satisfaction he wanted.

At The Art Institute of Dallas, Jerry found his calling in video production. During his education, he gained experience in editing, directing, producing, videography, art direction, still photography, camera operation, & graphic design to name a few. While in school, Jerry has won several awards. In 2014, his team's horror short, "Don't Watch" has won "Best Film" at The Art Institute of Dallas' 8th Annual Horror Film Race , & it was also an "Official Film Selection" at the Dallas International Film Festival in 2015. In that same year, Jerry and his team received the "Bronze Winner" award from the 86th Annual Telley Awards.

Jerry has great teamwork, research,  &, time management skills., loves the work environment, has knowledge and is able to adapt to any software presented to him. In his career, he hopes to be able to work on commercials, music videos, fashion films, short films and feature films.
